Do you have a passion for gardening?
Would you like to support others to enjoy gardening in their home or within an aged care or community setting?
Are you serious about making a difference in someone’s life through the enjoyment of gardening and growing healthy food?
If you are empathic, understanding and inclusive, with a willingness to give your full support and guidance to others then you will enjoy working in the Therapeutic Horticulture field!
Join Therapeutic Horticulture specialist, Cath Manuel, for this unique online training and learn how to provide meaningful garden-based activities to people of all abilities and ages through NDIS, aged care, community services, schools and other locations within the community.
Training is held online with weekly live sessions, held over 8 weeks, commencing on Saturday 8th October and completing on Saturday 26th November, 2022.
Participants receive workbooks, resources and certificate of participation upon completion.
To support the successful establishment of a Therapeutic Gardening Program you’ll also receive access to the Soil to Supper Online Training Hub with video tutorials on many therapeutic gardening activities, One-on-One online mentoring sessions with Cath, ongoing support through private Facebook group, access to Seasonal Gardening Program and one year access to the Soil to Supper Online Gardening Community.
It is preferable to have experience with gardening prior to training. Training in Horticulture or community support will assist with the delivery of programs but is not essential prior to training.
Book your place now as spaces are limited to 20 participants for online training and ongoing support.
